Trailer Mechanic


Will be based on experience


Must be flexible on shift times on 1st and 2nd shift


Operate and inspect mechanical equipment to diagnose defects
Preventive maintenance of equipment
Dismantle and reassemble equipment
Plan work procedure using charges and experience
Repair, replace and adjust necessary units and parts
Enter labor lines and parts into repair order computer system
May travel to other company shop locations when staff is needed
React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned


High School completion or GED
Must pass a NO-DOT physical and functional screen
Experience is preferred
Federal inspection certifications are preferred
Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair and maintenance of a variety of automotive and mechanical equipment is required.
Excellent Attendance
Ability to work in a team as well as individually
Must possess knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety precautions
